A LITTLE OF MY STORY
We live in a world where by Liza

We live in a world where resentment and judgment often arrive before love is even invited in. Stories change their shapes, but the feelings remain familiar: betrayal, panic, fear.
My gran, Ouma Bester, carried the wisdom of owls and the silence of gold. She would remind me: “Elke mens op die aarde maak foute… maar daars net een God wat oordeel.” Her words echo still. We are quick to judge, quicker to gossip, and slow to forgive. Our mouths run like wildfire sparked by unmet expectations.
Yet beneath the noise, there is always a quieter truth — that 1% of present awareness where kindness, compassion, and understanding live. Judgment is the echo of our wounds. Gossip is the wildfire of unmet expectations. But kindness — that small, steady flame — is the water that quenches the fire.
In Christ Consciousness, we perceive the world differently. We listen to your story without judgement or condemnation. Instead, we stand beside you, illuminating the cracks in our world. This is how we soften and become presence, not opinion.
So today, I carry Ouma’s silence as gold. I choose to be with others, not against them. To forgive not by creating distance, but by creating space within myself where God’s peace can dwell.
