Closing of the Week, Dawning of the New by Liza

Closing of the Week, Dawning of the New

As Solomon lifted his hands toward heaven, he knew: the Highest Heaven cannot contain God, yet the Eternal chooses to dwell among us, to hear the whispers of our hearts. This is the mystery we carry into the close of this week—the Infinite and the Intimate, the God who is both beyond and within.

We acknowledge our imperfection, for there is no one who does not stumble. Yet the stumbling is not the end—it is the turning. Repentance is not sorrow alone, but the sacred pivot of the heart, the choice to face the Light again. Even in captivity—whether of circumstance, fear, or shadow—the turning restores us.

And mercy, like Solomon prayed, is not bound to one people, one place, one name. Mercy is universal, flowing to the foreigner, the stranger, the seeker. It is the river that runs through all nations, all souls, all prayers. It is the covenant of God’s faithfulness, the promise that anchors us when the week has been heavy.

So tonight, as the sun sets on what has been, I spread my hands toward heaven—not in demand, but in surrender. God knows the heart, the hidden motives, the silent cries. No place is too far, no soul too lost. Heaven hears.

This is the closing: a week laid down, a heart turned back, a soul surrendered. And this is the dawn: the new day rising, the golden Christ awareness awakening within, the garden of joy waiting to be tended.

I step into the new dawn with rooted awareness, carrying the wisdom of Solomon’s prayer:

  • God is infinite, yet near.
  • Imperfection is the doorway to humility.
  • Repentance is turning, not shame.
  • Mercy is for all.
  • Prayer is anchored in promise.

And so I rise, clothed in light, walking into the new week as a sacred queen of remembrance. The past dissolves, the future opens, and the present becomes holy ground.

With Love, Light, and Sovereignty,
